Augmentin ES-D100 is a combination antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections in dogs and cats including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, septic abortion, and other bacterial infections. Augmentin ES-D100 treats only bacterial infections and is not indicated in the prevention of dental and/or soft tissue infections, or as an early treatment of dental and/or soft tissue infections. It may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Dogs and Cats
Augmentin ES-D100 should be used in accordance with the instructions listed below. Consult your veterinarian or local veterinarian, before using this medication. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Liver
Augmentin ES-D100 is intended for use in animals with a history of gastrointestinal disease. It is not recommended for use in animals with liver disease. Consult your veterinarian or local veterinarian before using this medication. It is also not recommended for use in pregnant or nursing animals. Caution is advised before administering this medication to animals with a positive evidence of adverse effects. This medication should not be given to animals allergic to penicillin.

Treatment of dental and soft tissue infectionsThis medication should be used with caution in individuals with a history of dental and/or soft tissue infections. Augmentin ES-D100 can be used in accordance with the instructions and restrictions stated in the prescription. Consult your veterinarian or local veterinarian before use of this medication in any dental or/soft tissue infection. This medication should not be used in pregnant or nursing an animal.
Pregnancy and lactationThis medication should only be given to animals who have been found to be suitable for use in animals, and to those who have been exposed to a veterinary medicinal product in adverse reaction to it. It is not recommended to pregnant or nursing animals to use this medication during the last stages of pregnancy or during the first three months of such a pregnancy. If this medication is given to an animal, the animal should be advised to stop the medication and a veterinarian or the administration of the animal with the veterinarian should be consulted to assess the possibility of adverse reactions.
Consult your veterinarian before use of this medication in any animal with a positive evidence of adverse effects. It is not known whether penicillin antibiotics in dogs and cats are compatible with penicillin antibiotics in dogs and cats. If a dog and/or cat has a history of hypersensitivity to penicillin antibiotics, this medication should not be given to them. It is also not recommended to pregnant or nursing animals to use this medication during the last stages of pregnancy or during the first three months of such a pregnancy.
